Each of our 280+ partners — including the nation’s top academic institutions, nonprofits, foundations, companies, and government agencies, among others — strategically applies their organizational expertise and resources to make a bold commitment that contributes to the goal of 100,000 excellent STEM teachers in one of three areas:
Recruiting future teachers in greater numbers and with stronger STEM backgrounds, and better preparing them for the classroom
Transforming how STEM teachers are hired, supported, and developed, so they continue to improve and inspire more students
Changing policy, sharing the STEM story with the wider world, and contributing funds that keep our momentum going
Partners also offer expertise, learning, and resources to support one another to achieve these commitments and to build the shared knowledge and capacity of the network.
Once a year, following a rigorous and independent vetting process that ensures organizational capacity, strength of commitment, and enthusiasm for growing the life of the network, 100Kin10 welcomes a new class of partners. 100Kin10 then provides the vision and resources our partners need to accelerate their collective efforts and fulfill their individual commitments.
