As the school year kicked off, we held a listening session with the 100Kin10 Teacher Forum to better understand teacher members’ experiences with how schools value and prioritize STEM and what’s on their minds as they head back into the classroom.

These local gatherings are participant-directed, with just enough structure to ensure rigorous, deep discussion.

During a 100Kin10 Teacher Forum listening session, we asked teachers to share their experiences with school environments, systems, and schedules that enable innovative instruction and teacher collaboration. This is what we heard.

To ensure that we are infusing our insights and priorities with teacher voice and experience, we have launched the 100Kin10 Teacher Forum to gather teacher perspective on an on-going basis.

The crisp, spring air bristled with shared anticipation, as about thirty 100Kin10 partners gathered at the world-renowned American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) for a customized, inside peek at the work being done there.
