Introducing the 2020 Teacher Forum

February 11, 2020

We are thrilled to announce the 2020 cohort of the 100Kin10 Teacher Forum!

To find the 2020 Teacher Forum, we put out a call for amazing STEM teacher leaders across the country and were blown away by the talent and passion of the teachers who responded. Today, we are excited to announce the 74 teachers that have been selected for the 2020 Teacher Forum. These teachers stood out for their leadership in and commitment to advancing STEM teaching, passion for raising up the voices and experiences of their peers, and belief in and desire to contribute to 100Kin10’s mission to address the STEM teacher shortage.

Teacher Forum members help us keep a pulse on what’s happening “on the ground” by pointing us to real-time insights from classrooms and schools across America. Members lead listening sessions in their local STEM communities to gather information about what STEM teachers are hearing, seeing, and experiencing. These insights are then shared with 100Kin10 and used to inform how we address the Grand Challenges. We also share what we’re hearing through the Teacher Forum broadly with the 100Kin10 network and the field in the hopes that these insights will have broader resonance.

“Being part of the Teacher Forum provides a really meaningful and productive way to contribute to the hard work being done to address the Grand Challenges outlined by 100Kin10. It’s a privilege to be a part of it, and I so appreciate the opportunity to connect with other educators and learn what’s happening all over the United States.” - 2019 Teacher Forum Member

Through the Teacher Forum, members have the unique opportunity to engage in the national conversation on STEM teaching and contribute to 100Kin10’s mission to get and keep great STEM teachers in all our nation’s schools.

We look forward to learning from and alongside this group of leading STEM educators and experts!
