Karen brings an attention to user experience as she creates structured opportunities for partners to share learnings that move us closer towards our shared. She joined 100Kin10 from The Feast, a social enterprise that inspires creatives to apply their skills to solve societal problems, where she spearheaded a community-led event series spanning more than 40 cities across 6 continents.
Before that, Karen led community efforts at Codecademy, an ed-tech startup offering free, interactive coding lessons, devising and implementing a sustainable community infrastructure as it scaled from 3 million to 5 million users.
Can you tell us about one important lesson you took from working in a startup environment that’s been important in helping you fulfill 100Kin10’s mission?
